Root-Cause Autoimmune Transformation for High-Performing Adults
When conventional medicine had no more answers, I began asking different questions.
The moment that shaped me was not my own illness.
It was my daughter’s.
Aaralyn was ten years old when she began telling me that her hands hurt. In the three weeks it took to get an appointment, I could already see changes in the shape of her hand.
I took her in looking for answers. A referral brought us to a rheumatologist in Nashville, where she was diagnosed with polyarticular arthritis.
Suddenly, I was trying to understand a diagnosis that could affect my little girl’s future. I remember being told to prepare for weekly injections of methotrexate and a regular medication schedule for pain. I was frightened by how quickly things seemed to be changing and overwhelmed by the decisions in front of us.
I asked about food. About inflammation. About what else we could do to support her body. I left feeling that those questions had not been fully explored.
I was a mother trying to understand every option for her child.
Our search took us to a doctor in Alabama, who also diagnosed her with Lyme disease. We began a strict juice-based diet and a supplement regimen that cost more than a thousand dollars a month. After about three weeks, she was still struggling.
That experience taught me that an alternative approach could also be demanding, expensive, and a poor fit for the person in front of it. I wanted to understand more than a list of products or a restrictive plan.
The wound makes the healer.
That is what this season became for me. My daughter’s pain sent me into a depth of study that would change the direction of my life.
I immersed myself in learning about nourishment, digestion, the gut microbiome, and the relationship between stress and the body. I began developing an individualized approach for Aaralyn, with an emphasis on nourishing foods, supporting digestion, and creating more steadiness and rest in her daily life.
Instead of continuing to chase one more product, I focused on the foundations: how she was being nourished, what she could tolerate, and how we could support her as a whole person.
Over the following three months, the symptoms we had been seeing resolved. Today, Aaralyn is twenty. In our experience, she has not had a return of her arthritis symptoms.
I share that with enormous gratitude. It is our family’s experience, not proof that any one approach cured arthritis or Lyme disease, and not a promise that someone else will have the same outcome.
What happened during those years shaped the questions I continue to ask in my work. What is this person carrying? How are they being nourished? What does their daily life ask of them? What support do they need to make meaningful changes?
Those questions became the foundation of Regeneration.
Today, my coaching brings nutrition, lifestyle habits, stress regulation, and emotional awareness into the same conversation. I work with people who want personal guidance and are ready to participate in the process.
I know what it feels like to sit across from someone, searching for answers for a person you love. I bring that memory, that care, and that willingness to keep asking thoughtful questions into my work.
Coaching is educational and supportive. It does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment. Decisions about medication and care should be made with your licensed healthcare providers.
